What These Pages Mean to Me Today

Before you continue...

These pages were never meant to be read by anyone else.

They were written by someone who felt overwhelmed, unseen, and afraid. They capture thoughts I carried in silence—thoughts that reflected the pain I was experiencing, not the person I truly was.

Today, I'm sharing them for one reason:

Because I know someone reading this may feel the same way I once did.

The handwriting has been intentionally blurred to protect the private thoughts of the younger version of me who wrote these pages.

She deserved privacy.

She also deserved compassion.

Today, I choose to give her both.

When I look at these pages now, I don't see someone who was broken beyond repair.
I see someone who had been carrying more than anyone realized.
I see someone who believed she had to be strong for everyone else while silently falling apart herself.
I see someone who confused survival with living.
For years, I hid these journals because I thought they were proof that something was wrong with me.
Now I understand they were proof that I was trying to survive.
Those pages captured my pain.
They did not define my future.
Today, I no longer write because I have lost hope.
I write because I found it.
To You...
If these pages remind you of your own story...
If you've ever felt invisible...
If you've ever believed no one would understand...
Please know this:
The thoughts you have during your darkest moments do not define who you are.
You are more than your hardest day.
You are more than your deepest pain.
You are worthy of kindness.
You are worthy of love.
And your story does not end where your pain began.
Thank you for trusting me enough to read a chapter I never thought I'd share.
Welcome to The Pages I Once Hid

These pages are no longer hidden because I hope they help someone else step out of the darkness and into hope.
